Awesome views from our drive through the Italian mountains.
But it was all worth it when we pulled into Garda Village, our home for the next 3 days. We unloaded the car and quickly just dropped everything and got into our swimsuits and headed down to the lake. The bottom was really rocky and it took a lot of convincing, but we finally got Brayden to put on his floaties so that we could go further out and not have to deal with the hurt feet from the bottom of the lake. After about 30 minutes we noticed these amazing paddle boats. And they weren’t just any normal kind of paddle boat, they were equipped with a slide. I didn’t have my camera though, but boy was it fun. Although Brayden was really scared and didn’t do much, Ryan more than made up for it. It was awesome to see him have that much fun.
It was time for momma to get some rest and some sun because we all know I need it, lol. So the boys decided to build a sand castle and write something cute in the sand with shells. It was so cute I just had to go back to the room to get the camera.
Look at those handsome boys and again the view:)
After we were done at the lake, we went back to the room to rest a bit and then head out to dinner at the camp restauranto/pizzeria. The boys and I had pizza and Danny had the buffet, which he said was not very good, but it was better than nothing.
After dinner we took the boys over to the park where they found rabbits running around. It was so cute watching the boys chase after them and the rabbits were so calm and let the boys get so close to them.
Just when we thought the night was over, we headed over to the bar where they had a full on show and it was all directed towards the kids. It was amazing and the kids had a blast, especially since the show did not end until 1030-11pm. This place had everything and it is a great place for families: pool, mini golf, park, sports area, bar, market, restaurant, laundry, kids clubs, game room, private part of the lake with beach, nightly shows for kids and families, and much more. And for the money you pay, it is such a great value for everything that they have to offer. What a wonderful first day in Italy and thank goodness for the AC in our bungalow.
RYAN'S CORNER:
Today I went to Garda Lake. It was so fun. We rented a paddle boat with a slide. I went down it about 30 times! It was really fun. Then we went to see if mini golf was open, it wasn't. Instead me and my brother saw two bunnies. That bunny in the picture was the cutest we saw that day. After that we went back to are room. Today was really fun.
So fun! (A friend of mine had her kids share their stories as she blogged their trip as well. Priceless!)
